OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR PRIVACY

We at Manor Cleaning Services, Inc. (“Manor Cleaning Services”, “we”, or “us”) understand how important privacy is to our users and visitors. In the spirit of complete transparency, please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information through our Site and the choices you may have to keep your information private.

 

This policy applies to our website www.manorhomeapp.com (the “Site”), mobile applications, as well as to all the services we offer (collectively referred hereinafter as “Company Platforms”). Naturally, our Privacy Policy does not apply to other websites or companies that Manor Cleaning Services does not own or control. Capitalized terms that are not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning given to them in our Terms and Conditions of Service.

We strive to be transparent in our data collection and use practices. This is the type of personal information we may collect about you.

  1. Information directly provided by you: When registering for an account, we ask for certain information that we collect from each user. Also, at times we may retain any information voluntarily provided by you, such as when you contact us with inquiries, respond to one of our surveys, register for access to the services or use certain services, which typically include your (i) name; (ii) telephone number; (iii) email addresses; (iv) home addresses; (v) information about your home; (vi) your payment details; (vii) your IP address; and (viii) any other personal information which you give us in connection with the services.

    Your account information may be available, in whole or in part, to other users or cleaning service providers who belong to our Company Platforms. Your name, network name, profile picture may be available in search results through our Company Platforms and networks. The only information besides your name, network name and profile picture that may be accessed by others is the information that you specifically allow them to see as per your privacy settings.

  2. Information received from third parties: Through the functionality of our Company Platforms, we may receive information about you from third parties. This information may be stored along with the other personal information we’ve gathered directly from you. From time to time, we may send you emails containing newsletters or other updates. If you do not wish to receive such email messages, you may opt out by unsubscribing from this option. We may also use your information to send you service-related emails (e.g., account verification, reminders, changes/updates to features of the service, technical and security notices).

  3. Information collected through technology: We automatically collect certain types of information when you access and use our Site. Specifically, when you visit our Site, we may send one or more cookies — a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters — to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser and allows us to help you log into our system faster and enhance your navigation through the Site and our other Company Platforms. We may employ clear gifs (also known as web beacons), which are used to anonymously track the online usage patterns of our users. In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails were opened and which links were clicked on. This information provides us with a more accurate reporting as to how we can improve our services of the Company Platforms by adding new feature that best fit your needs. All of these tools collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit, the third party applications you use, and other information that assists us in analyzing and improving the Site.

We use or may use the data collected through cookies, log files, device identifiers, and clear gifs information to:

Access to information is limited (through user/password credentials and software systems) to only those employees who require it to perform their job functions. We use industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to safeguard the account registration process and sign-up information. Other security safeguards include, but are not limited to, data encryption, firewalls, and physical access controls to building and files.
